Downs Physiotherapy - History

Jackie Robertson, the principal of Downs Physiotherapy, commenced practice in 1979 with her early experience being based in hospital settings. She has since developed four separate practices in and around Toowoomba.

This suite of locations of Downs Physiotherapy allows patients from many parts of the Darling Downs to access first class treatment from locations that best suit their needs.

Professional rooms have been established at St Vincent’s Hospital; St Andrew’s Hospital; South Toowoomba and Oakey.

Some of the highly specialised treatments (e.g. for cancer care patients) have to be carried out Downs Physiotherapy’s rooms at St Andrew’s Hospital. However, the medical fraternity knows that their patients can be assured of quality physiotherapy being nearby.

Downs Physiotherapy employ fully qualified physiotherapists and a number of support staff all managed by a practice manager to ensure compliance standards are maintained.
